Our story of Nomad Trail is quite amusing. As some of you know, we met in Bansko at the Bansko Nomad Fest last year and had a great time together. After a community dinner, we decided to meet the next day and suddenly decided to start a company. Within eight hours, we had created a company, made a website, launched a newsletter, registered a URL, set up Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, created a business plan, and even designed and printed a T-shirt. Afterwards, we hosted an unconference session. What a flow!After we left Bansko, things started to become a bit more challenging. Working together remotely proved to be quite difficult. However, we managed to start the first trail: Stefan Stolwijk hitchhiked from Switzerland to Albufeira. Unfortunately, no one else was courageous enough to join him 😂. Nevertheless, he completed the trip, marking the first leg of our adventure. But the sense of community was missing.After that, we met again in Switzerland, and that turned out to be incredibly productive as we collaborated to create the next project. However, whenever we weren't physically together, it became difficult to work effectively. Eventually, some co-founders decided it was too much for them and chose to leave. This left three of us, but we felt we shouldn't give up. It was still a cool idea, so we decided to continue. This eventually led to the creation of the summer trip. Interestingly, it's been a year since we first conceived the idea, and now our journey is about to begin. It took us much longer than expected, but the result is really cool. It would be fantastic if some people joined us.This trip starts in Bansko, then from the 10th to the 14th of July, we head to Belgrade (to get some city air). Next, we move to Bjelasnica, a mountain town close to Sarajevo (25 minutes by car), where we stay for four weeks and host the first Nomad Fest in Bosnia from the 21st of July for seven days. After that, we travel to Budapest (for more city air), then take a night train to Switzerland. We will enjoy two weeks in Braunwald, with its beautiful views, wonderful hikes, and a visit to Zurich. Following that, we go to Bourg-Saint-Pierre and stay there for another two weeks.
